England Under 18’s boss Steve Cooper has selected Nya Kirby as part of his 23 man squad for their forthcoming matches against Brazil and South Africa.
The games will form a vital part of the Young Lions' preparations for October's FIFA Under-17 World Cup, for which they qualified by finishing as runners-up at the European Under-17 Championships this summer.
17 year old Kirby has previously played for the England under 16 & 17s and at club level signed a professional deal with the Eagles in February 2017. He was previously on the books of Tottenham Hotspur before linking up with Palace at the start of 2016/17, and quickly earning himself a professional deal after impressing for the development side.
Cooper's side faces Brazil at Shrewsbury Town on Friday 1 September, then South Africa at Leek Town on Monday 4 September. Both games kick off at 7pm.
