Ahead of its official opening on Saturday 12th August, the all new CPFC Fanzone will be open today for fans to experience for the first time.
Located outside Selhurst Park’s Main Stand reception and following major renovations over the summer, the Fanzone will be open from midday ahead of Palace’s pre-season clash with Schalke.
The capacity of the new area is 500, and match ticket holders will be welcomed on a first come, first served basis.
Inside the Fanzone fans can enjoy drinks (soft and alcoholic) and food, including an open-air BBQ as well as a large seating area in front of the main stage and big screen. Before the Schalke match kick off, Britain’s Got Talent finalist Wayne Woodward will perform live, with additional appearances from the Crystals and Palace mascots, Pete and Alice.
There is also a section for young fans to enjoy with a ‘Fastest Shot’ machine, EA game station, and a Class Room area with a range of activities to take part in, and chances to win Palace prizes.
The Fanzone will close shortly before kick-off on every matchday and re-open for an hour after the game. Please note there will be no alcohol for sale after the game due to licensing restrictions.
