On Thursday the club held the Christmas Business Club Lunch at Selhurst Park Stadium and were delighted to welcome Ed Warner as special guest.
Ed Warner, former Chairman of U.K. Athletics and current Chairman of Palace for Life Foundation, the official charity of Crystal Palace Football Club, gave an engaging presentation and took questions from guests attending the event.
As Chair of UK Athletics and World Para Athletics, Ed was instrumental in the successful organisation of the London 2017 World Athletics Championships last August at the London Stadium.
He has also been awarded the OBE for services to British Athletics.
This event offers local businesses and industry professionals the opportunity to meet at the stadium to network, share contacts and ideas while bringing like-minded people together from different sectors for the benefit of their business.
The Business club lunch included an indulgent festive three course meal and a behind the scenes tour of the stadium. Guests also enjoyed fine wine tasting with Stephen Browett, Chairman of wine merchants Farr Vintners.
The event was kindly supported and sponsored by Local Partner Workflow Group
The next CPFC Business Lunch will be on Thursday 8th February 2018 between 12noon and 3pm and the subject matter will be the proposed new stadium. Architect Nick Marshall from KSS and the club’s Development Manager, Guy Wickett, will present and conduct a Q&A session on the exciting plans for the Stadium Development.
