Remy Picks Up Knock

24 February 2017

Sam Allardyce is pleased overall with the options available to him ahead of Palace's home game against Middlesbrough on Saturday, though he has said that some first team players won't be fit in time.

The manager inherited a squad hit by injuries at the end of 2016 and has worked to rectify the situation, though he still doesn't have a completely clean bill of health amongst the players.

"From a squad point of view: Loic Remy picked up a bit of an injury [in training] and Mathieu Flamini too," he said during his pre-Boro press conference.

"Scott Dann's back though and Baky Sako's back. They're a little too early for this game, but it's good to have them back in the squad.

"So the squad has pretty big capabilities for selection," he added.
