Andros Townsend has been named the Mansion Player of the Month for April after Eagles fans voted him the winner over the last four weeks.
The winger scored against Arsenal in the 3-0 victory and added a couple of assists to that in a month where his defensive work for the side played a major factor in the success of the team.
The 25 year old received the award at the Beckenham Training Ground on Friday morning as he looked back on his award winning month.
"I am delighted to be receiving the award and it is nice to see how the fans have appreciated my hard work, particularly defensively against some of the top teams as well as being able to chip in with a goal and an assist in the month which I have been pleased with.
"April was a busy month with the games coming thick and fast and it is hard to maintain that consistency when there are a number of matches so close together but I feel in every game I have put in a shift for the team.
"We now have three difficult games to finish the season with and hopefully it’s just the one win we need to ensure our survival, it’s going to be difficult but hopefully with the results we have had in April it will give us the confidence to get the remaining points as soon as possible."
