The final Business Club networking lunch of the season took place in Speroni’s Restaurant at Selhurst Park on Thursday 20th April.
Guest speaker for the event was Actor, co-founder of Palace Ale, craft-beer aficionado and lifelong Palace fan, Neil Morrissey. He spoke about his upbringing, where he admits at school he was usually guilty of playing badly and told
the audience how he was advised to go to stage school which led to a successful acting career.
Not forgetting his love of beer and Palace he spoke about creating a special Ale for the club he has supported since childhood.
This event also featured an afternoon of hospitality and fine wine tasting, with Palace shareholder and owner of Farr Vintners, Stephen Browett, selecting the wines and guiding the room through the tasting session. This included the Eagle Chardonnay 2012/13, Verget, France & Eagle Red 2012, Chateau Thenac, France
After enjoying the three course lunch the guests were taken on a stadium tour to take a look behind the scenes of a Premier League club.
The event was kindly sponsored by Global Reach Partners, and CEO Mark Smith-Halvorsen was in attendance to speak to members of the business community who were taking the opportunity to create new contacts and share ways to generate business.
Amongst the guests present on the day was Hugo Wymer from Sancus Ltd t/a Auditel (UK) Ltd and he was delighted to have the opportunity to meet new business associates.
