Jose Mourinho has confirmed he will give debuts to a number of youngsters in his squad for Sunday's match at Old Trafford but has confirmed that Paul Pogba will play in the game. He will be resting many regular starters in preparation for the Europa League Final against Ajax on Wednesday.
Pogba has missed United's last two matches following the death of his father.
Youngsters Demetri Mitchell, Scott McTominay, Josh Harrop, Angel Gomes, Axel Tuanzebe, Timothy Fosu-Mensah, Joel Pereira and Kieran O'Hara could feature in the squad and the United boss has concerns over using too many in one game but is pleased to welcome back Pogba.
"For the kids it will be a great experience to play in the Premier League in the last match of the season. It will be a big occasion but I think the best thing for a young player is in the middle of an experienced structure, where he can be supported.
“Paul is a strong guy with a strong mentality. He is learning how to live after his father passed away but he is strong and he knows he needs to play Sunday because he hasn't played or trained for a long time and he needs these minutes on the pitch. He plays against Palace.”
