Luka Set For Tournament Place

6 September 2017

Luka Milivojevic was back in the Serbia starting eleven on Tuesday night for the 1-0 victory against the Republic Of Ireland.

The victory means Serbia moved four points clear at top of Group D and can confirm qualification to the World Cup with maximum points in their next game against Austria on October 6th.

The only goal of the game came in the 55th minute as Filip Kostic played the perfect pass to Aleksandar Kolarov, who fired the ball into the net, via the crossbar, giving Darren Randolph no chance in the Irish goal.

Republic of Ireland will now face Moldova at home on Friday, October 6, before finishing their campaign on October 9 in Cardiff against Wales, a match between the two home nations that could decide second place
