Prior to today's Premier League derby against Brighton there is the chance for Palace fans to meet former Eagles winger Vince Hilaire at the Fanzone.
Hilaire began his career with Crystal Palace as a 17-year-old in a 3–2 defeat at Lincoln City in March 1977 and the exciting winger went onto to be a regular member of the side at the end of the nineties that was predicted to be the "Team of the Eighties" after winning the Second Division title on that memorable night in front of 52,000 at Selhurst Park. He made over 255 league appearances for Crystal Palace, scoring 29 goals and was named Player of The Year in 1979 and 1980.
The Selhurst Park Fanzone will be open from midday and the pre-match activities will be presented by our hosts “Cheeky Sport”. They will be entertaining fans as the clock counts down to kick-off and as usual, there is a range of activity, entertainment and competitions for fans of all ages to enjoy.
Resident DJ, Jay Knox will be looking after the music and we will also be joined by the Crystals in a packed pre-match schedule.
The Fanzone is open to all match ticket holders on a first come first served basis.
