Milivojevic: It's Two Points Dropped

7 April 2018

Luka Milivojevic was left frustrated with Palace's late lapse away to Bournemouth, considering the draw two points dropped having led twice.

The birthday boy opened the scoring early in the second half with a stunning free kick and Wilfried Zaha later restored the Eagles' advantage following a Cherries equaliser through Lys Mousset.

Josh King's late goal tied the game, leaving Milivojevic frustrated.

"We had many good chances and dropped two points today," he said. "We have to carry on, if we win the next game then this point could be a big one – and we have to think like that.

"I’m very frustrated after this, because we deserved to win the game for sure, but okay, we can take something from this performance and we can upgrade for the next game."

"I would easily give up my goal for the three points, as I said: we dropped two points. It’s nice to score on my birthday, but I would be happier if we took two more points."

The point leaves Palace 17th in the table, three points ahead of Southampton, who play twice before the Eagles take the field at home to Brighton next Saturday.

"Five games until the end," said the captain. "We should take more points to survive and we will give everything to do it."
