Punch & Palace Ladies Attend Healthy Eagles Session

13 April 2018

Jason Puncheon was joined by Palace Ladies players Ellie Stenning and Ciara Sherwood at a recent Healthy Eagles session held at Thornton Heath Leisure Centre.

Healthy Eagles sessions run across south London for two age groups – 4-11-year-olds and 11+. Children meet once a week at a community venue and work with Palace for Life coaches to learn about everything from healthy eating and cooking to sugar awareness. Sessions also include over an hour of exercise that is delivered in a fun and engaging way, through games and activities that encourage children to build friendships, improve their self-esteem and exercise in a non-intimidating environment.

The session was covered by BBC Match Of The Day and was shown last week on their Sunday morning programme but we give you another chance to see the broadcast.

Palace for Life Foundation, the official charity of Crystal Palace FC, launched Healthy Eagles in 2018 with the objective of working with young people and their families in south London to help them lead a healthier, happier lifestyle.
