Roy Hodgson has been boosted by being able to name Christian Benteke and Luka Milivojevic in his starting line-up for today’s final friendly against Toulouse.
The Belgian striker has been out of action since limping off in the act of scoring against Halmstads in the second game of the summer, but is included in the starting line-up today alongside Milivojevic, who gets his first start of pre-season following his World Cup exploits.
Meanwhile, new signing Cheikou Kouyate is named on the bench as he hopes to get his first action in red and blue stripes against the Frenchmen.
Toulouse boss Alain Cassanova has included ex-Eagle John Bostock in his starting line-up, handing Palace’s youngest ever player a chance to grace the Selhurst Park pitch for the first time since he controversially left the club in 2008.
Meanwhile, another former Palace player Yaya Sanogo is incuded amongst the substitutes.
