Paddy McCarthy's Palace U18 side saw off a spirited Cogenhoe United team last night, 2-1, to progress to the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup.
David Boateng opened the scoring for Palace in the 50th minute, which was cancelled out almost immediately by the hosts' Jack Mullally. But TQ Addy's late-winner was a fitting end to a great contest.
