Sporting Dinner – Wednesday 9th May.

Two former Crystal Palace strikers return to Selhurst Park for our end of season Sporting Dinner.

Iain Dowie and Clinton Morrison always let their feet do the talking during their successful playing careers but on the night you will be able to hear them recall their memories of their days in the red and blue of Palace.

Dowie returned to manage the club to promotion to the top flight where he coined the term ‘Bouncebackability’, which was later added to the Oxford dictionary, after a turnaround in form saw his side climb out of the bottom three and end the season in the final play-off spot.

Morrison played under Dowie in the Premier League and will be sharing memories of his time at the club which saw him score over 100 times in two spells of his career in SE25.

David Jensen will be attending the event and will add some great memorabilia for the night’s auction with proceeds going to Parkinson’s UK.

The doors will open from 5pm and the event will be held in the Stanley Stephenson Lounge at Selhurst Park Stadium.

The event is kindly sponsored by Boyden Tiles and doors open at 5.00pm with the event commencing at 7.15pm.
