Luka Milivojevic is the Eagles’ tough-tackling all action centre midfielder who has helped to rejuvenate the team.
The Serbian midfielder moved to the Eagles almost exactly one year ago and has been one of the first names on the team-sheet ever since.
Those with a keen eye will have noticed that although Luka’s kit and team has changed, his footwear hasn’t.
Luka only has one type and model of football boot and hasn’t bought a new pair since 2015!
The former Olympiakos man bulk-bought 15 pairs of adidas F50 adizeros because he liked them so much and has since turned out in the boots in the Champions League, the Greek top division, World Cup qualifiers and of course the Premier League.
He is now down to his last couple of pairs and is worrying about where to find his next pair as adidas have stopped making the model he loves so much.
We chat to Luka in the latest episode of “My Boots” and he runs us through his boot collection, what exactly it is about the boots he loves and we also ask him about his new nickname, Man Like Serbia.
Anyone who is a fan of football will know that professional footballers get sent the latest training gear, so finding a professional who doesn’t like the latest trends is really unusual.
