Jach Reveals Delight At Palace Move

23 January 2018

New Crystal Palace signing Jaroslaw Jach admits that it’s a “dream come true” to sign for a Premier League club after completing his move from Zaglebie Lubin.

The Polish international penned a three-and-a-half year contract with the Eagles to become their second signing in as many days following Erdal Rakip’s loan capture on Monday, as Roy Hodgson begins to make an impression on his squad.

Jaroslaw Jach Signs For Palace

23 January 2018

Having been a big follower of English football in his homeland, Jach now has his sights set on featuring in the top division during the rest of the campaign and play a part in helping the Eagles pull further away from the relegation zone.

“This is a dream come true,” stated the 23-year-old. “The Premier League was the league I have followed since I was little and I always wanted to come and play here. I am very pleased and I hope that I will be able to help Crystal Palace to stay in Premier League, and perhaps achieve bigger successes.

“When I came to Zaglebie Lubin, my dream was to have a debut in the first-team. Once I achieved that I had new goals, like to regularly play in the first-team, then become a standout player. I think that at Crystal Palace I will set new goals and they will be similar.

“The first goal is to debut in the Premier League and if this happens I will fight to play on a regular basis and become part of the first-team. I know it will be difficult because the bar is set high, but I believe in myself and with hard work I can get there and achieve many successes here.”

Thanks to his knowledge of the game on these shores, Jach admits that he knows plenty about his new club already, but has also brushed up on which matchdays to look out for before the end of the current campaign, with an encounter against a certain rival already circled in his calendar.

“I know it is the club from south London and has an outstanding manager, Roy Hodgson, who led team England in the past,” he added. “Every game is a sell-out which is one of the greatest things, and I have also heard that even though there are many clubs in London, the biggest derby games for fans are those with Brighton, which makes it one of the biggest games in the season. I hope one day I will be able to win such a game!”
