Sørloth Receives Norway Selection

24 May 2018

Palace striker Alexander Sørloth has been included in Norway's 25-man squad for their friendlies against Iceland and Panama in June.

The attacker missed out on winning his first cap for his country as an Eagle back in March due to injury, but has once again been selected by Lars Lagerbeck for their games against two World Cup debutants.

First up is a trip to Reykjavík to take on Iceland on 2nd June, before heading home to Oslo to host Panama four days later, with Sørloth included alongside Bournemouth's Joshua King, Hull City's Markus Henriksen and Stefan Johansson of Fulham, who captains the side.

Sørloth, who made four appearances for Palace after arriving from FC Midtjylland in January, has previously won 12 caps for his country, scoring one goal which came against Iceland when the nations last faced off ahead of Euro 2016.
