Mamadou Sakho has been named in the France squad for their forthcoming friendly against Iceland and the Nations League game against Germany.
Sakho has already represented his country on 28 occasions and this term the 28-year-old has been ever present in Roy Hodgson’s side in the Premier League and has been part of a defence that kept three clean sheets in the Eagles' opening seven games.
In their Nations League games during last month Didier Deschamps side drew with Germany and then beat Netherlands 2-1 on home soil.
