Team News: Meyer Handed First League Start

Max Meyer has been given his first start in the Premier League tonight against Bournemouth.

The German midfielder has appeared as a substitute in four of Palace's first six league games but after impressing in last week's Carabao Cup victory at West Bromwich Albion will start from the beginning at the Vitality Stadium, with Cheikhou Kouyate making way for his fellow summer signing.

That is the only change to Roy Hodgson's Eagles line-up and indeed the bench from the side that drew 0-0 against Newcastle United nine days ago.

Bournemouth meanwhile have made two changes to their team after they were surprisingly thrashed 4-0 by Burnley in their last Premier League encounter.

Captain Simon Francis has been recalled in place of Diego Rico, while Lewis Cook also gets a start with Andrew Surman demoted to the bench.
