The loan arrival of Michy Batshuayi to Palace from Chelsea will peak the interest of Fantasy Premier League managers on the lookout for a new forward in Gameweek 25 and beyond.
The Belgian has been priced at a competitive £6.5m, and since he averaged a goal every 84.6 minutes over his two seasons with the Blues, this could make him an attractive prospect for FPL managers.
Roy Hodgson said that the forward could feature in Saturday's home clash against Fulham. Also on his radar will be Jordan Ayew (£5.7m), Christian Benteke (£6.3m) and Connor Wickham (£4.9m).
The Belgian’s finishing skills can be beneficial for one of the most attacking teams in the division of late. Palace’s totals of 91 shots, of which 58 shots were inside the penalty area both rank among the top three teams over the last six fixtures.
Elsewhere, Bakary Sako has been priced at £4.9m and Lucas Perri at £4.0m.
Encouragingly for Hodgson and Eagles fans, Palace are also set to embark on a favourable run of opponents. According to the Fixture Difficulty Rankings (FDR), which rank the difficulty of each Gameweek opponent, seven of Palace’s next nine matches score no more than three out of five.
That hands Batshuayi and co. the chance to immediately make their mark and steer the Eagles up the table.
