Team news: Zaha and Ward in, Batshuayi starts

23 February 2019

Roy Hodgson has made three changes to the team that last played in the league for Crystal Palace, as Joel Ward replaces the injured Aaron Wan-Bissaka, James Tomkins takes Martin Kelly's place and Michy Batshuayi comes in with Christian Benteke on the bench.

Zaha has returned from suspension to feature, having missed the Eagles' clashes with Fulham and Doncaster Rovers.

On the bench, last week's goalscorer Max Meyer joins Cheikhou Kouyate while Jordan Ayew and Benteke offer options if change is needed up top.

For Leicester, Jamie Vardy returns having not started against Tottenham Hotspur two weeks ago. He and Christian Fuchs are the only two changes the Foxes have made as Demari Gray makes the bench. Ben Chilwell is unavailable having been assessed for injury prior to the clash.

Subs: Ward, Soyuncu, Morgan, Gray, Iheanacho, Okazaki, Mendy.

Palace: Guaita, Van Aanholt, Tomkins, Sakho, Ward, Schlupp, McArthur, Milivojevic, Townsend, Zaha, Batshuayi.

Subs: Hennessey, Dann, Riedewald, Meyer, Kouyate, Ayew, Benteke.
