TEAM NEWS: Palace U23s Prepare to Face Rivals Charlton Athletic

Crystal Palace Under-23s will face off with south London rivals Charlton Athletic today in a 13.00 kick-off, and Richard Shaw's line-up has now been announced.

The Eagles won their last match, also against south London opposition but this time it was Millwall. Palace ran-out 2-1 victors that afternoon and head into the match today placed second in the table, with the Addicks sitting bottom - 14 points behind the red and blues.

Facing them today will be the likes of Sam Woods, Kian Flanagan and Tyrick Mitchell, who signed a new deal with the club last week.

On the bench is Joe Tupper, having found himself second-choice 'keeper behind Julian Speroni in recent first-team matches.

The hosts are fielding a strong side, including first-team players such as shot-stopper Chris Maxwell, Tarique Fosu and Anfernee Dijksteel.
