All the Club’s full-time staff are already paid the London Living Wage and, from the start of this season, all part-time staff employed directly by the club will be paid the London Living Wage. In addition, all agencies who supply casual staff to the Club are now required to certify that they are also paying those staff members the London Living Wage.
The London Living Wage is currently set at £10.55 per hour for all London boroughs, significantly higher than the national living wage set by the government (£8.21 per hour).
Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish said: "I’m pleased to confirm that, working together with Sadiq Khan the Mayor of London and the London Living Wage Foundation, from this season - we now pay all full-time and part-time staff the London Living Wage as a minimum, and also ensure our partner agencies also do the same. We recognise the contribution of all our full-time and matchday staff members, and fully support the campaign to pay all employees a wage that reflects the true cost of living in London.”
