Several Palace players will be under consideration this pre-season, with more than six million managers expected to play the world's most popular Fantasy game.
Captain Luka Milivojevic topped the Palace points chart last season with 166 points and his starting price has increased accordingly to 7.0. With the introduction of VAR potentially leading to a rise in penalties awarded, Milivojevic – who netted ten penalties from the spot - could be a shrewd addition to any FPL managers’ squads.
Elsewhere, Wilfried Zaha has been re-categorised as a midfielder, and is temptingly priced at 7.0. Zaha scored 10 goals and assisted 11 last season, and will undoubtedly be near the top of the popularity charts. Jeffrey Schlupp has also made the switch to midfield having previously been listed as a defender, and his four goals and three assists make him an interesting option at the cut-price of 5.5.
The Eagles showed solidity at the back under Roy Hodgson last season, recording 12 clean sheets – a number only topped by the top four clubs and Everton. Vicente Guaita is therefore competitively priced at 5.0, alongside regular centre-back pairing of Mamadou Sakho and James Tomkins, also at that price. Van Aanholt is the most costly Palace defender (5.5) due to his attacking threat, so those on a budget could consider utility defender Martin Kelly (4.0).
