The 24-year-old centre-back made his Palace first-team bow in a win over Swansea City in the Carabao Cup last season, before joining Dundee on loan, where he made 13 appearances in the Scottish Premiership.
Newport County are currently 12th in League 2, and are managed by Michael Flynn who led his side on a memorable FA Cup run last season. The Welsh side were eventually knocked out by eventual winners Manchester City in the fifth round, but the spirited team dismissed Leicester City during the impressive campaign. In the league, Flynn’s side narrowly missed out on promotion to League 1, after conceding in the last minute of extra-time to Tranmere Rovers in the Playoff Final at Wembley.
Everyone at Crystal Palace FC wishes Ryan all the very best for this loan spell, as he continues his development.
