From the side that started the Conference League quarter-final second leg against Fiorentina last Thursday, **Will Hughes** and **Jefferson Lerma** come into the midfield, replacing Daichi Kamada and Adam Wharton.

The other switches see **Brennan Johnson** come into the attack, joining Yéremy Pino and **Jørgen Strand Larsen** who replaces Jean-Philippe Mateta.

Mateta and Ismaïla Sarr will be available from the bench, as they were in our last home Premier League game, a 2-1 win over Newcastle.

The substitutes bench available also includes Kamada and Justin Devenny, as well as Nathaniel Clyne and Chadi Riad.

**Dean Henderson** is selected in goal to captain the side, while **Maxence Lacroix** is fit to play after overcoming the injury that saw him withdrawn in Florence.

Ahead of the visit from the Hammers, Glasner was asked about his striking options by Sky Sports, saying: “Both Jørgen [Strand Larsen] and JP [Mateta] know that we need both of them, and it's really easy because they are both such great guys. 

"And I think the Newcastle game was great evidence of this. Jørgen really played well, he worked very hard in the first 60 minutes and then JP came on and helped us to win the game. 

"Jørgen did the same when he arrived, first again Brighton and then when he scored two great goals against Burnley.

"When you have so many games to play, you need two strikers, particularly with Eddie Nketiah having a frustrating season with injury. So it's good we have two strikers.

West Ham, perhaps unsurprisingly, name an unchanged team after they defeated Wolves 4-0 in their last outing ten days ago.

The Hammers go into tonight’s game one place and one point ahead of Tottenham in 18th, and one place and four points behind 16th-place Forest.

The fan festival also featured the Premier League Trophy, a range of family-friendly soccer activities, club mascots, and appearances from special guests and Premier League club legends.

Previous fan festivals were held in Chicago, Nashville, Washington D.C., New York, Boston, Austin, Miami Beach, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Orlando and, earlier this season, Kansas City.

West Ham arrive in South London looking to build on their win against Wolves last week, which took them out of the Premier League relegation zone for the first time in 2026.

Palace are well clear of the scrap to stay in the top-flight, but Mitchell says the team are highly motivated to pick up as many points as possible, with last season's total of 53 still within reach.

The wing-back, who made his 200th Premier League appearance in the recent win over Newcastle, says the team still have to work to do domestically, after securing a place in the UEFA Conference League semi-finals last week.

"As everyone in the changing room has said, whether it's myself, the Manager," said Mitchell. "We say that we want to win every game and the aim is to take maximin points.

"Obviously it's not easy and sometimes it doesn't always come true. But our aim is just to get as many points as possible, keep our run going and see where that takes us.

"Like every game [Monday] is going be extremely tough. West Ham are a team that right now are in good form and they need three points to move away from the relegation zone. So we know there's a lot to play for, for them.

"For us, we want to get as high up that table as possible. So there's a lot riding on it for us.

"I think it's a massive game for both teams. We want to continue our momentum and they want to win to stay in the Premier League.

"So I think it'll be a good game."

With only seven league games still to play – and hopefully a further three in Europe – before the end of the campaign, Mitchell was asked for his highlight of a season which has seen him tick off some major milestones as a Palace player.

"I think the Liverpool game [at Selhurst Park in September] at the beginning of the season that was a special win, he said. "We had only come back off playing them in the Community Shield a month or so before.

"And to win it so late on... late goals are sometimes the best way to win it. That win has to be a big highlight."

Mitchell also thanked the Palace faithful, who gave him a tremendous reception in the closing stages of that 200th league appearance in the previous home game.

"It was a proud moment for myself," he added. "It's something that I wanted to achieve and play as many Premier League games as I could. 

"It was an amazing reception. I appreciate them, I'm happy that they appreciate me, so it's always nice to hear everyone clapping and that appreciation."

At all 10 fixtures, including Palace's match against West Ham, clubs will come together to reinforce important messaging around our collective commitment to improving diversity and fighting discrimination.

No Room For Racism messaging will be displayed around Selhurst Park in a variety of forms, and we will come together to show our unity against all forms of discrimination.

It's just about accepting each other and learning from each other

**Speaking at a recent visit to Palace for Life Foundation's ['Get Involved' engagement session](https://www.palaceforlife.org/project/get-involved/), Eagles star Eddie Nketiah said:** "We've got players from all different countries, faiths and backgrounds, and we're all one family at the end of the day.

"We've all got the same common goals and we all want to achieve the same things.

"Palace is really a club that has throughout history always shown that diversity in players and staff.

Glasner reacts to goalless draw

A physical contest full of set-pieces and half-chances yielded no goals, with the Eagles – despite only playing in Florence four days ago – finishing the stronger of the two sides, but being forced to settle for a point by a resilient visiting side.

Glasner told Palace TV: “I think everybody who knows me right now knows that I'm not 100 per cent pleased when we have a draw – especially today, I felt we could have won the game, if we'd performed a bit better. 

“But on the other side, when I see all the circumstances, then the performance was absolutely okay. What I really liked most today is that right at the end, where everybody could expect that we are getting fatigued and West Ham go for the win, we were closer to winning it.

“We made a lot of pressure, we were just not clinical enough and we weren't good enough in our set-plays today, and we had plenty of them. 

“And on the other side, we have another clean sheet. So, overall, it's a good point and the performance was okay, and that's why it's more positive than the opposite.”

Glasner added of the display: “I think, especially in the first-half, we lost too many balls too easily in dangerous areas. 

“In the second-half, we got very often into the final third and then we had many crosses from just outside the box, but we didn't have the best movement inside the box, we didn't have enough players in the box. Sometimes the crosses were not accurate enough, so we were always missing a little bit.

“And also credit to West Ham, they defended the box very well. And then you need maybe a set play, where we had a lot, and also there we were not good enough. That's why it's a point at the end, but I just remind myself, the first thing I learned from the Chairman [Steve Parish] was to respect the point in the Premier League, and that's what we're doing.”


Credit to our players today, that they could match the West Ham motivation

Adam Wharton, who left the field in the first-half of the second leg against Fiorentina on Thursday, did not feature in the matchday squad.

Glasner said of the England international: “He should be back [for Liverpool away on Saturday] – it was mostly a precaution more or less, [he showed] a little bit of clinical symptoms.

“I expect him back on Thursday in training when we start to prepare for the Liverpool game and he should be available.”

Next up the Eagles face the Reds at Anfield for a second time this season, with the rare luxury this season of a full week to prepare for the trip to Merseyside.

Glaser noted: “Like always, [I expect] a great atmosphere at Anfield, great stadium, and they are fighting for the Champions League. We're also in a good position in the league, and we want to show a great performance there. 

“We think we know how they play, but also they had a great win in the Merseyside derby, so that's why they will be highly motivated.

“And again, also credit to our players today, that they could match the West Ham motivation [with the Hammers fighting relegation] today. It was a completely different approach to the game, and so I know, I trust these boys, that we will be motivated and giving our best. 

“And I trust our fans, who had a great atmosphere here today at Selhurst, and I trust them that they will go to Anfield and support the team, and then hopefully we can come back with three points.”


Oliver Glasner admitted he was disappointed with the result of Monday’s 0-0 draw against West Ham United at Selhurst Park – but not, given the circumstances, Palace’s performance.

Henderson helped earn Palace's 12th clean sheet of the season in a goalless draw with a stubborn Hammers side, making a number of notable stops. 

But the Eagles had the better chances, with Brennan Johnson twice going very close in the first-half. Substitute Ismaïla Sarr then had the ball in the net late on, only for the referee to rule it out for a handball by Jean-Philippe Mateta in the build-up. 

Henderson admitted it was a frustrating result in his post-match assessment, but still believes his team in are in a good position to push on in the league. 

"We're disappointed," he told Sky Sports. "I think the lads gave it everything they could. Obviously we had a few tired legs out there. 

"But we did manage to push on towards the end and try and get the winner, unfortunately we just couldn't do that today.

"We take the clean sheet, we move on and then we'll get ready for some important games coming up.

"I'll be honest. We wanted to win. We wanted to close the gap to the teams above.

"Ultimately we tried. We tried our best. We played late midweek and that can be tough at times... with the three games in a week.

"It's a bit of a missed opportunity really. We wanted to push on in the league, but we can still do that. Hopefully we can win our game in hand and push on."

In the first-half Henderson produced the save of the match with a magnificent stop to deny in-form defender Konstantinos Mavropanos, who scored twice in his last outing for the Hammers.

The big centre-back met a cross with a powerful header, only for the Palace captain to produce a remarkable reaction save to retain his clean sheet.

"To be fair he [Mavropanos] leaped over the defender," said Henderson. "He got some real power behind it. I didn't really see it after that.

"I just managed to get my hand up and keep it out. But that's my job, so I was happy to make a save like that tonight."

Palace skipper Dean Henderson admitted that the team "missed an opportunity" to climb further up the Premier League following Monday's 0-0 draw with West Ham.

The Eagles had the better of the second-half against their in-form opponents, but were unable to find the vital goal that would have sealed back-to-back Premier League wins. 

But despite the scoreline there were still plenty of positive displays from those wearing red and blue.

Oliver Glasner made four changes from the last outing in Florence, with Will Hughes, Jefferson Lerma, Brennan Johnson and Jørgen Strand Larsen returning to the starting team.

And, on a sunny spring South London evening, Palace began brightly with Johnson and Strand Larsen linking up nicely in the early stages.

The Norwegian had the first sight of goal of the evening with a clever flick from Tyrick Mitchell’s cross off-target.

The Hammers' first chance arrived exactly on the 15th minute. Pablo caused confusion with a driving run at the Palace defence, before Taty Castellanos lashed a shot into the Holmesdale end.

Five minutes later and a golden opportunity came Palace’s way. Lerma was given space and produced an exquisite cross from the left channel.

Johnson met the ball with his head, but couldn’t trouble Hammers ‘keeper Mads Hermansen. The Wales international was at the heart of every Palace attack, going close with a wonderful curling effort after he was picked out by Yéremy Pino.

The visitors did have their fair share of territory, with Palace forced to deal with a number of dangerous Mateus Fernandes free-kicks. But the biggest scare of the half came when Konstantinos Mavropanos powered a header towards goal from a great position.

Dean Henderson reacted superbly to keep the ball out, before Mitchell dragged wide after a rapid Eagles counter-attack. That meant, despite decent chances at either end, it was goalless after the first 45 minutes.

West Ham threatened early on after the break, with a overhead kick from Jarrod Bowen causing confusion in the Palace penalty area, before Jaydee Canvot eventually dealt with the situation.

Johnson then forced Hermansen into action after a flowing move from the right, before only a last-gasp Mavropanos interception prevented Strand Larsen scoring, with the Eagles starting to find their rhythm.

Glasner then once again decided to play a three-card trick, with Jean-Philippe Mateta, Daichi Kamada and Ismaïla Sarr joining the action in a triple change.

The Hammers nearly benefitted from a horrendous bit of luck for the Eagles when Lerma slipped just outside his own penalty area. Fortunately, Castellanos could only run the ball into Henderson’s arms.

At that point it felt like one goal either way would win it.

The visitors, knowing they could take a big step towards survival with a win, threw on striker Callum Wilson to try and test the Palace backline.

But at the other end, Mateta was causing real problems with his physicality and nearly found Sarr with a powerful cross. Lerma then forced a save from Hermansen as the Eagles continued to offer a threat.

Then came the moment that looked to have won it for the Eagles. A high ball in front of the Hammers’ goal caused chaos, with Sarr eventually firing in from only a few yards out. However, Mateta had flicked the ball towards him with an arm – VAR confirming the on-field decision and keeping the score at 0-0.
