The 'keeper remains very much a fan favourite and it is clear that Palace are a club that the recently retired Hungarian international holds dear to his heart. Here's a snippet from Király's interview that will feature in the matchday programme for the Hertha Berlin friendly:
“I was so happy to join this club, because for me Crystal Palace is one big family. Everyone was friendly, everyone helped my integration and this enabled me to fall in love with the club quickly, and gave me a huge sense of pride pulling on that shirt. I always felt like I could never play bad for this club and its people; I have a responsibility to them."
As well as being interviewed for the programme, Király will be meeting and greeting supporters in the Fanzone before the game, doing the rounds of our premium lounges and will also be interviewed on the Selhurst Park pitch at half-time.
The match will kick-off at 3pm and tickets are now on general sale. You can buy yours here! In the thick of the summer holiday before the Premier League starts, it's the perfect occasion to treat the family to a day out at Selhurst and we will be hosting family-fun events throughout the pre-match build-up in our Fanzone.
