Three matches against sides in the top five have certainly made it a stern test for the youngster but it’s an experience he is enjoying and one he hopes he gets the opportunity to continue.
“I am excited with it but it’s always a challenge but it’s a challenge I am going to take and do what I can.”
The second half performance at Stamford Bridge nearly gave The Eagles a share of the points as Wan-Bissaka felt an encouraging latter period of the game after a disappointing start will lead to better days.
“We didn’t start off that well but we kept our heads in the game and in the second half went at it and gave it all we had and I think eventually we will get there.”
The half time substitution from Roy Hodgson gave Wilfried Zaha his return to action following his injury against Newcastle United and the 20 year old defender said that it gave the side the lift that was needed.
“He is a lot of a boost; he gives the team confidence to push on as he brings us forward up the pitch so it’s good that he is back”.
A trip to Huddersfield Town is next up for the Palace squad next Saturday and Wan-Bissaka is planning another week working on the training pitch and has no doubts what his hopes are as he prepares for the game.
“Personally mine is to stay in the team again, carry on training hard and we will see what happens on that day."
