The Welshman said, "We're playing a lot of the big boys at the moment but hopefully things will turn around quickly after the international break. We've got some fantastic players and it's just not running for us at the moment, so hopefully our luck will change."
The match was tightly-fought and both teams were unable to create very many chances, with Spurs only managing two shots on target.
"They didn't have many shots on target or cause us many problems. But, they had that one chance and they took it. I thought we were very unlucky at times, I thought we had a lot of chances but they punished us today. Another day and I think we come out on top.
"At this level, if you don't take your opportunities then other teams will punish you in every way like they punished us today."
Palace will face Manchester United following the international break on the 24th November.
