The forward has built a reputation as a prolific goal-scorer over the course of his career. Beginning at Standard Liège in 2011, Batshuayi went on to spend time with Marseille, Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund and Valencia, netting a combined 108 goals from 288 matches.

In doing so, he became the first player to score in the top divisions of England, Spain, France and Germany during the 21st century.

Batshuayi also scored on his international debut for Belgium against Cyprus in March 2015 and has 18 goals from 30 appearances for his country, playing a part in the side that finished in third place at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Days before rejoining the Eagles at the start of 20/21, he bagged a brace for Belgium against Iceland.

In his first loan spell with Palace, 'Batsman' netted an impressive six goals from 13 games - including a pair against AFC Bournemouth to secure victory on the final day of the season.

After spending 19/20 with his parent club Chelsea, the forward returned to south London in September 2020, proclaiming "I feel like I’m home now."
