Moving to Palace the day before summer 2019's deadline day, Camarasa joined the Eagles after a successful loan spell with then-Premier League club Cardiff City.

Camarasa began his journey through the youth ranks with his hometown club Valencia CF aged just seven – at the same Academy which helped develop Palace goalkeeper Vicente Guaita - before joining Atlético Levante UD in 2012, with whom he began his senior career.

Having played for Levante's reserve team, Camarasa earned his first-team debut against Recreativo de Huelva in 2013. During his time with Levante, Camarasa also featured for Spain Under-21s on four occasions.

In 2017, he joined Real Betis before being loaned to Cardiff the following summer.

With the Bluebirds, Camarasa played in 33 matches, scoring five goals and registering four assists to help him secure recognition as Players' Player of the Season and pick up the club’s Goal of the Season award for a remarkable effort against Leicester City.
