The striker enjoyed a meteoric rise during 2017/18 as he stepped up from the under-18s to fire the development side to the league title, and be named on the first-team bench for a trip to Bournemouth in April 2018.
Daly has been at the Eagles since under-14 level and is a left-footed player who is comfortable on the wing or centre-forward.
Having scored goals for the under-18s as a 16-year-old, he continued to find the net in subsequent seasons but really found his feet when called up by Richard Shaw for the second half of the 2017/18 campaign, bagging a hat-trick against Queens Park Rangers to prove he had the quality to step up.
That fine form saw him handed the club's Scholar of the Year award at the end of a campaign in which he claimed league winner's medals at both under-18 and under-23 levels, and handed a one-year professional deal before he joined Kingstonian on loan until the end of the 2018/19 season.
