Fully deserved for the Eagles who were excellent for an hour before the contest drifted a little. A solid workout and a result to boot. A good night for Pierre Sage's side all in all.

Let's see if the Eagles can round off the Como Cup with one more goal...Ismaïla Sarr is on for his first minutes of the tournament! He is joined by Dean Benamar and Charlie Walker-Smith who will get runouts here.

Drakes-Thomas, Tomiyasu (T) and Doucouré are all on. Off go Hughes, Sosa and França.

A very simple goal. An inswinging corner isn't dealt with by Al-Ula and Canvot is able to poke home by reacting quickly. Palace have restored the two-goal cushion!

França has already gone close twice since the break, the first a curling free-kick that just had too much height. Just as I say that Hughes whips in another dangerous set-piece which proves just too high for King.

Rak-Sakyi, Jemide, Ozoh and King are all on for Palace. Off go Cardines, Richards, Kamada and Nketiah.

That's the best 45 minutes from Palace in pre-season so far. They've played at an intensity that, at times, Al-Ula have not been able to live with. Cardines, Devenny and Nketiah have all looked really dangerous. Probably should have more than two goals to show for it.

Some vocal support coming from the far end corner of the stadium from the travelling Palace fans!

We may not have found the third goal yet, but Palace have continued to dominate since the water break. There's some lovely positional interchange between the front three which is causing problems.

The players make a brief stop to stay hydrated. Palace have dominated the vast majority of the opening 22 minutes.

Al-Ula are back in it. Al Sulaiheem controls the ball on the edge of the Palace box and picks out the corner with a nice finish. It's been an all-action start here.

What a move that is!! Again it's down the right-wing. Devenny cuts the ball into Cardines' path. His cross is perfect for Nketiah to finish from close range. Palace are on it tonight!

Another quick break down the right from the Eagles sees Rio Cardines get in behind their defence. Matheus França’s finish is off target from close-range. But Palace have made a strong start here!

What a start!! Palace build a flowing move down the right hand side which ends with Justin Devenny's cool finish past Atiyah at his near post. 1-0 Palace!! What a start!

The two teams are out with Palace looking resplendent in the new sash kit. We're just moments away from kick-off in Como...
