Crystal Palace forward Stephen Dobbie has joined Fleetwood Town on loan until the end of the season.
The Scot, who spent the majority of last term on loan at Blackpool, has penned a deal with the League One side that will keep him at Highbury for the whole of the 2014/15 campaign.
Dobbie initially joined the Eagles on loan on deadline day in January 2013 and helped the club win promotion to the Premier League with three goals from eight Championship starts in red and blue.
That earned the former Rangers and Swansea City man a permanent deal and he started in Palace’s 1-0 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur on the opening day of the 2013/14 season before being loaned to Blackpool, where he hit four goals in 27 appearances.
Dobbie returned to SE25 earlier this summer and bagged four second half goals in the 13-1 demolition of Austrian minnows GAK Graz last month, but he was omitted from Tony Pulis’ squad that travelled to the USA for games against Columbus Crew, Philadelphia Union and Richmond Kickers.
