Gerry Francis has today left his role as first team coach and the club would like to place on record our thanks to him for his time here during last season and the beginning of this one.
Francis told the official club website that he has enjoyed his time back at the club. “I have really enjoyed my time at Crystal Palace Football Club, and I am disappointed to be leaving.
“The players have been a pleasure to work with and the fans have been brilliant, but although Neil Warnock has asked me to stay on, I feel that with new management coming in to the club it is the right time for me to leave.
“I would like to wish Neil, Keith, the Chairman and Directors, Players, Staff and Crystal Palace fans every success this season and to stay in the Premiership once again.”
Co-Chairman Steve Parish placed his thanks on the record for Francis.
"Gerry has been a fantastic person to have around the club and has been a huge help to me personally.
"I would like to thank him for his tremendous input and hard work and wish him well in everything he does in the future."
