Eagles defender Paddy McCarthy has rejoined Sheffield United on loan until 28th December.
The centre-back made five appearances for the Blades during his initial month-long stint at Bramall Lane, scoring once in a 2-2 draw against Leyton Orient, and helped the Yorkshire side climb the League One table.
Having returned to Palace and being named on the bench against Manchester United last weekend, McCarthy will now return to Sheffield until just before the new year to help continue their push for promotion from League One.
Speaking to Palace Player last month, McCarthy talked about the Blades, saying: "It's a fantastic club, everyone has looked after me really well and there's a great bunch of lads there.
"The gaffer (Neil Warnock) spoke really highly of the football club and he wasn't wrong, it's fantastic.
"We got 20,000 fans turn up for a game against Leyton Orient which shows just how big the club is."
