Teenage defender Jerome Binnom-Williams has joined League Two side Southend United on a one month youth loan deal.
The left-back featured heavily for the first-team this summer during their pre-season campaign and has played in the Capital One Cup tie against Walsall last month.
The 19-year-old made his Palace debut in the same competition last season against Bristol City, having graduated through the club's academy. He has been a regular fixture for the club's development side over recent seasons, and scored in last week's 1-0 victory against Sheffield United.
Having enjoyed a loan spell with Conference side Forest Green Rovers last season he now makes the temporary move to the Shrimpers, who currently occupy 14th position in League Two having collected two wins, two draws and two defeats from their opening six fixtures.
