Garvan Makes Bolton Wanderers Loan Move

10 September 2014

Eagles midfielder Owen Garvan has moved to Championship side Bolton Wanderers on a three month loan deal.

The Irishman has made 87 appearances for Palace since being signed by Dougie Freedman in the summer 2010, and now is reunited with his former manager at the Macron Stadium.

The 26-year-old has featured once for Palace this campaign in the 3-0 Capital One Cup victory against Walsall, but wasn't selected in Neil Warnock's 25-man squad for the Premier League season.

He spent time on loan at Millwall at the back of end last season, once again teaming up with a former manager in Ian Holloway to help the Lions stave off relegation from the Championship.
