Binnom-Williams To Remain At Southend

27 January 2015

Palace defender Jerome Binnom-Williams will remain on loan at Southend United until the end of the season.

The left-back had made 16 appearances so far for the Shrimpers since signing on loan for the League Two club back in September, but has extended his stay at Roots Hall as his initial loan deal was due to expire this month.

The 19-year-old has played at left-back, centre-half and left wing under Phil Brown and helped his side beat Portsmouth last weekend, a result which leaves the Essex side fifthin the table as they chase promotion to League One.

Binnom-Williams has featured twice for the Palace first-team, both in Capital One Cup second-round games against Bristol City in August 2013 and this season against Walsall.
