Kaikai Extends Cambridge Stay

16 January 2015

Teenage winger Sullay Kaikai has extended his loan spell with Cambridge United until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old has made nine appearances for the U's since arriving at the Abbey Stadium in November, and scored the only goal of the game to beat Mansfield Town in the FA Cup second round.

The club have since made it through to the fourth round of the competition and have a glamour tie next week when they host Manchester United, which the winger will be hoping to be a part of now he has finalised an extension to his loan deal.

Kaikai, who has appeared once for Palace in a scoring debut against Newcastle United in the Capital One Cup in September, will also be aiming to play a key role in helping the club earn a play-off spot come the end of the campaign, and they currently sit seven points behind the top seven with a game in hand.
