Crystal Palace midfielder Hiram Boateng has joined Plymouth Argyle on loan until January 2nd 2016.
The 19-year-old prepares for the start of the Sky Bet League Two season with Pilgrims boss Derek Adams in what will be a valuable period out on loan for the youngster getting game time at that level.
The central midfielder has progressed through the youth ranks to make his first-team debut in an FA Cup third round tie at Stoke City in January 2013, and he also featured in the competition the following season in the third round victory at West Bromwich Albion.
Yet to make his league bow for the Eagles, Boateng did have a brief loan spell at Crawley Town in 2014 and was recently named on the bench for Palace's Premier League clash with Southampton during last season.
He has been a regular for the development side over recent seasons, and made 24 appearances for the under-21s last campaign, scoring once.
