Crystal Palace can confirm that midfielder Jake Gray has joined League Two side Luton Town permanently on a free transfer.
The 20-year-old played twice for the Eagles’ first-team back in the 2014/15 campaign in League Cup ties and spent the majority of last season on loan at Hartlepool United where he played 33 times, scoring five goals.
Gray arrived at Selhurst Park at the start of the 2012/13 season as a 15-year-old and worked his way through the academy and development teams where he was a regular scorer, and after being selected to play in the club’s pre-season tour of the USA in the summer of 2014, he was handed his professional debut as substitute against Walsall in August of that year. Later that season he also spent time with Cheltenham Town on loan, where he appeared five times and ironically made his Football League debut against Luton.
The club would like to thank Jake for all his contributions at Crystal Palace, and wish him well for the future.
