Crystal Palace Football Club can confirm that Mile Jedinak has joined Aston Villa for an undisclosed fee.
Jedinak, 32, arrived on a free transfer in July 2011 and has gone on to make 179 appearances in all competitions for the Eagles, scoring 10 goals along the way.
He served as captain from 2012 until the end of the 2015-16 season and played a huge role in Palace's recent successes, most notably the promotion to the Premier League and the subsequent survival in the top flight.
Alan Pardew said: “Mile has been an influential figure at Palace since joining five years ago. He has been a super player and instrumental in our progress as a club. We thank him for his commitment in a Palace shirt and wish him the best of luck in his next chapter at Aston Villa”
The midfielder also holds the record for the most international caps made by a Crystal Palace player (38) during his time in SE25 and he is the club's all-time highest international goalscorer (10).
The club would like to thank Mile for everything he has done during his time at Palace and we wish him the very best for the future.
