Eagles striker Freddie Ladapo has joined Oldham Athletic on loan until the 2nd January 2017.
Ladapo, 23, will link up with the League One side who have taken six points from their opening five games and sit 13th in the table, and could make his debut in their Checkatrade Trophy game against Carlisle United tonight.
The attacker featured for the Palace first-team for the first time in pre-season, including travelling with the squad for the tour of the USA and Canada, and made his first appearance under Alan Pardew against Philadelphia Union. He scored his first goal in a 3-2 friendly win against AFC Wimbledon and was named on the bench for Palace’s opening two Premier League games.
He signed for the Eagles from Margate back in March after impressing during a trial with the under-21s, where he netted a hat-trick against Watford.
The former Colchester United front man will see a familiar face when he gets to Boundary Park, with former Palace development goalkeeper Chris Kettings signing for the Latics in the summer following his release from Selhurst Park.
