Palace duo Ben Wynter and Ryan King-Elliott have signed their first professional deals with the Eagles, while Oliver O’Dwyer has also agreed a new contract.
The three defenders will be members of Gary Issott’s development squad last season, having stepped up from the under-18s over the course of the campaign.
Wynter and O’Dwyer played 23 and 17 games respectively for the under-21s last term as they forged a strong centre-back partnership, whereas King-Elliott made his first appearance at that level in the final game of the season against Cardiff City, having battled back from a lengthy injury.
They will join Luke Dreher, Corie Andrews, Michael Phillips, Aaron Bissaka and Andre Coker in the development squad next term who all penned pro deals during 2015/16.
Meanwhile 16 players have signed new scholarships with the club and will join Ken Gillard’s under-18 squad for 2016/17.
They include Francis Jno Baptiste who finished top scorer in the IFA Shield during the academy’s trip to India earlier this year, the winner of the U9-U16 Player of the Year Joseph Hungbo, as well as James Daly, Lewis Byron and Tariq Ossai who made appearances for the academy side last season.
The others to make the step up from the under-16s are Kyle Lynch, Malachi Peynado-Peart, Jordan Norman-Williams, Jack O’Connor, Will Ozono, Liam Coates, Andrew Demby, Matthew Funnell, Tyrick Mitchell, Ibrahim Kargbo and Oliver Webber.
Meanwhile Oliver Pain, Oliver Bennett and Dan Hogan have all left the club.
