Sam Allardyce has revealed that Scott Dann and Julian Speroni have suffered slight injuries ahead of the Emirates FA Cup game against Manchester City.
"We've had a slight injury to Scott Dann, he's fitness testing this morning, and Julian Speroni's tweaked his knee," the manager said in his pre-match press conference.
"Fraizer Campbell's back in training and other than that it's the long-term injuries, they'll come back if and when. Our goalkeeper Mandanda has started some training, so he'll be back in the squad."
Wilfried Zaha and Bakary Sako have returned from their Africa Cup of Nations duties, but Allardyce wants to see them monitored before they feature for the first team.
"I would hardly think so, after playing all those games and travelling all that distance back from the Africa Cup of Nations," Sam said, when asked whether Zaha was ready to feature straight away.
"We would rather protect him this weekend and see how his recovery goes, see what his fitness is like and see what he's been doing in training how he's got on with the games - and how much he's enjoyed it, it was his first time playing for his country - then assess him an bring him back into the squad as soon as possible.
"If that's possible for Tuesday that would be great, if not then we take our time and don't rush a player back who could get injured through the fatigue and the travel he's experienced."
