Mamadou Sakho has been named the Mansion Player of the Month for March after Eagles fans voted him as their star performer during the last four weeks.
The January signing followed up an impressive debut against Middlesbrough in February by helping his team to two further clean sheets against West Bromwich Albion and Watford, which saw the Eagles claim a maximum haul from the month and boost their survival chances.
The Frenchman beat off competition from Wilfried Zaha, James Tomkins and Luka Milivojevic to land the prize, and after being presented with the fan-decided award he said: "I'm really happy about that. I remember when I was at PSG the fans liked my style of play and also at Liverpool and now I am happy that it's the same story here.
Congratulations to @mamadousakho on winning the @Mansion_Group Player of the Month for March!

"I try to give my best when I'm on the pitch for the squad and I'm just here to try to help the club, to help the team and to give my best.
"I'm very happy. It's a really good stadium with really good fans and also a really good group of players. They're good in training and on the pitch. We have a god mentality and are really happy. I'm very happy to have come here because it was a challenge for me and I like a challenge!"
