Palace winger Jason Lokilo has joined French side FC Lorient on loan for the duration of the 2018/19 campaign.
The 19-year-old winger will link up with the Ligue 2 club for the rest of this campaign, having scored twice in his first two under-23 games of the season.
Lokilo joined the Eagles’ youth ranks from Belgian giants Anderlecht, and quickly progressed from the academy side right up to the first-team, whom he made his debut for last August against Ipswich Town in the Carabao Cup.
He then played a key role in the development side’s Professional Development League South title win last season, scoring nine goals in 26 appearances.
FC Lorient are currently in their second season in the second tier of French football, and are managed by former Les Blues goalkeeper Mickael Landreau.
They have helped develop some famous players over recent years, such as Laurent Koscielny, Yoann Gourcuff, Andre-Pierre Gignac and Seydou Keita, while current Palace striker Jordan Ayew also spent time with the club in 2014/15.
