Palace development attacker Levi Lumeka has joined National League side Leyton Orient on loan until the end of the season.
Lumeka, who turns 20 next week, has been the under-23’s top scorer in each of the last three seasons, and was rewarded by playing twice for the first-team last season including a professional debut as a substitute against Burnley in the Premier League 12 months ago.
Last season saw him score 13 goals in 25 appearances for Richard Shaw’s side, and he’ll hope to continue to find the back of the net at his temporary new home at London Road.
Orient are currently in their second season in non-league after spending 112 years in the Football League. Last season they finished 13th in the National League under former Tottenham Hotspur defender Justin Edinburgh, and after seven games this season they sit in 5th place, two points behind leaders Wrexham.
