For supporters travelling by train to Sunday’s match against Tottenham, kick-off 12noon, there are a number of amendments to the railway network in place for the day.
Due to engineering work there are no direct trains between London and Gatwick Airport or the Sussex Coast.
A Gatwick Express half hourly service will operate between London Victoria and Redhill calling additionally at Clapham Junction and East Croydon. Replacement buses will run between Redhill and Gatwick Airport.
The club advise supporters to check their journey before travelling due to the following disruptions to the normal Sunday service across the train providers.
Due to engineering works train services are subject to alteration across the network. Norwood Junction station will have limited services with only have four Southern services per hour.
This station will therefore be busy so if possible it would be beneficial to avoid Norwood Junction.
London Victoria to Brighton services will not run at all.
London Bridge to Tonbridge services will instead start from London Victoria, and will make additional calls at Clapham Junction and Selhurst.
London Victoria to Bognor Regis services will run between Three Bridges and Bognor Regis, calling additionally at Crawley, Ifield and Littlehaven.
London Victoria to Ore services will operate between Three Bridges and Polegate.
London Victoria to Portsmouth Harbour / Littlehampton will run between Three Bridges and Chichester / Littlehampton.
Replacement buses will run between Redhill and Three Bridges calling at all stations.
Engineering work is taking place between Streatham / Norwood Junction and Epsom / Epsom Downs, closing all lines.
As a result
- Services between London Bridge and West Croydon will be diverted to terminate at East Croydon.
- London Victoria to Horsham services will be run between Epsom and Horsham.
- London Victoria to Epsom / Dorking / Epsom Downs services will not run.
- London Victoria to Sutton services will be diverted to terminate at South Croydon.
Replacement buses will run between Streatham and Epsom, and also between Norwood Junction and Sutton / Epsom Downs.
Half hourly London Bridge to Tattenham Corner (via New Cross Gate) service calling at all stations.
Half hourly London Victoria to South Croydon (via Crystal Palace) calling at all stations.
Rail replacement bus service every 15 minutes between Norwood Jn and Sutton calling at all stations.
An amended train service will run between Luton and Wimbledon via Tooting. Customers for stations between Mitcham Eastfields and Wimbledon / Sutton can use local buses on any reasonable route.
No trains will run between Clapham Junction and Watford Junction. Customers should travel via London Victoria for Underground services to London Euston for London Northwestern Railway services.
Thameslink services will not operate between London St Pancras International and Gatwick Airport. Passengers can use Southern services between London Victoria and Redhill and the Southern rail replacement buses between Redhill and Gatwick Airport to connect into Thameslink trains services between Gatwick Airport and Brighton.
South Western Railway are accepting valid Southern tickets between Epsom and Dorking.
Thameslink customers with a valid ticket can use local TfL buses on any reasonable route.
London Overground between Clapham Junction and Willesden Junction / Stratford Southern between East Croydon / Clapham Junction and Watford Junction / Milton Keynes Central
Please note that there will be no overground trains but that there are trains running into Norwood from Charing Cross/London Bridge on the Southern route and also to Thornton Heath/Selhurst from Victoria.
Engineering work is taking place between Clapham Junction and Willesden Junction / Watford Junction, closing all lines. Tickets will be accepted on local bus services by any reasonable route.
